Sino-French friendship has stood the test of time and will remain strong, said Pascal Dasseux, executive vice president of Havas Group and secretary general of the Vivendi Asia Committee, in a recent interview with China News Network.

France and China share much common ground, including thousands of years of history and tradition, and people in both countries value peace and independence, Dasseux said.

“We know what our countries suffer and how difficult it is. We don’t want that. We want our countries to grow,” he said. “We have to be strong countries because we have many others to speak in our name.” (By Mo Honge, Zhao Li)
